Holy Spirit Filled Translation: English-Chinese Translation
The guiding principles of this ministry are the importance of being led by the Holy Spirit and in Love, sharing the Word of God truthfully and faithfully.
Michael and Lay Lay are the founders of Faith Life Translation located in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Michael and Lay Lay with their two children were led to move from Colorado to Florida to sit under the teachings of Faith Life Church.
Michael was raised in a Christian home. He demonstrates and teaches the love of God in application and practice in his daily life. Lay Lay was born and raised in Malaysia. She went to Chinese school for the first seven years of her school life. Besides Chinese-Mandarin being her first language, she also speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia (Malay), Chinese-Cantonese and Chinese-Taiwanese. She moved from Malaysia to Denver, Colorado in 2007.
Lay Lay was raised in a family which worshiped their ancestors, Buddha, and partially practiced both Taoism and Confucianism. Being raised with these different religions, as a young adult, she decided to be a “free thinker”. One day she had an encounter with the One True God – Jesus Christ, and she was fully persuaded that He is the only God that she can fellowship with. To her, Christianity is a relationship with God which always causes her to triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14) and her God has redeemed her from all the curses of the law (Galatians 3:13). After being baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, Lay Lay was hungry for God’s Word. God began to fill her with His Word by sending Brother Keith Moore’s series “The Wisdom of God”. Since then, she continues to be filled through the online teachings from Moore Life Ministries.
Two scriptures imprinted on Michael and Lay Lay’s heart are Luke 4:18-19. They are taking the next step of Faith, carrying the Word of God which has been imparted to them, carrying the Glory of God, to reach out to the lost.
We Believe
We believe the BIBLE is the inspired Word of God. We believe in one God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is LOVE. We believe that The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God that was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He took all our sins upon Himself, was crucified, died and resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Teacher. He guides us in all area in our lives. He blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield to the fruit of the Spirit.
Redemption
We believe in divine healing and prosperity through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ. These are part of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
